Another 1st birthday outfit question....
DD's birthday is on Sat. I was going to wear white capris (they are more like longer shorts...hit right at the knee) and a cute hunter green Michael Stars t-shirt with flip flops. I asked DH if he likes the outfit on me and he said, "I like when you wear dresses"....so my plan to dress casually isn't working out. My other option is a yellow cotton wrap dress that is summery...I would wear flip flops with it. DH likes me in it....but I don't know how practical it is for a birthday party outside? Opinions?

I like your original outfit. the dress is very nice, but I think its going to feel forced while you are hosting the party.

I say wear what your dh likes. The dress looks really nice! There will be a lot of pics taken at the party and you want dh to look at the pics and smile years from now on how hot is wife was/is! I would go with what makes him happy. JMO.

wrap dress + outside = holding your skirt down all day in order to aviod giving a free show
I wore a similar dress to work last week- it was so annoying- every time the wind blew- the skirt was all over the place

The dress is really cute, but I think it is too dressy for the type of party you're describing. You're most likely going to be doing alot of running around, so I think you should go with your original choice. I think you'll be much more comfortable.

I'm totally torn. I will be more comfortable in the dress b/c it's just more "me"....I need to stop worrying about what other people will think and just do my thing.

i wore a dress at DD's backyard party last weekend and was very comfortable! i love that dress you posted-just see what you feel like wearing the morning of the party. that's what i did. i always have 2 outfits picked out b/c i ALWAYS change my mind on the day of!

i saw choose what you will feel best in - there are some dresses that i feel more comfy in than pants i'm sure you'll look great with whatever you choose

You see, this is how I am. The dress is more ME, so I say go with the dress. Love it BTW!
