another bunk bed question

1. we really like the bunk beds with stairs, but there isn't a way that we can arrange the bunk beds without blocking a window.

I'm a little uncomfortable with this. there is still a window in the room that would be unblocked - is that OK? It would be the window that the fire department would have a clear shot to. The window that would be blocked has the deck and a tree in front of it.

DH thinks it's fine.

2. I have a full comforter already (that I love and matches the room), could I use that on the bottom bed (put more on the wall side?) and then buy a twin for the top bunk?

TIA

#1 As long as there is 1 unblocked window I think you're fine. Also make sure the blocked window has no hanging cords from blinds, just in case someone decides to place with the cord. Chat Icon

#2 Use what you have, especially since you love it. I personally like an extra bit of blankie on my bed, so it sounds perfect to me!

One window blocked is fine and I would use the full for the bottom bunk. Top would be too much but bottom is fine.

thanks everyone...I was on the fence, but then spoke to my mom and she is a nervous nelly, so that pushed me over the paranoid edge.
