Another C/O ? Changing plans without town approval
We're in the midst of getting a CO for an addition we put on. The plans that were approved included a two sided fireplace which we decided after they were approved not to do b/c the fireplace wouldn't generate heat.
I'm worried about what the inspector may say when they see that we didn't do the double sided fireplace. Any ideas or experiences? We just renewed our permit as well.

I don't think it should be an issue but maybe just resubmit new plans. Call the town bldg department and ask them if it is necessary.
You should also ask if you could get your money back if there was a fireplace permit fee since you didn't put it in.

we are currently going through renovations and we have made numerous changes. we were just told that we will have to have our architect note the changes and give them a new set of drawings before the final inspection.
