Another certification

Just curious... if you were to get another certification what area would it be in?

I see a lot of positions opening up for specialty areas (Soc. St, Math, Science) which seems more Jr. High, HS. I'm certified pre-k - 6 and thinking of going back but not sure what to go for.

Any thoughts?

I'm cert. in spec. ed and el. ed and went back and got my cert. in gifted ed. If I was to go back for another, I'd think about administration.

I was back and forth between Literacy and Special Ed. I knew I would not be a good special ed teacher so I went for Literacy. I LOVED it and it helped me so much in my everyday teaching and lesson planning.

I'm certified in Early Childhood and Childhood Ed. I would probably go back for my Early Childhood Special Ed. cert.

I'm certified in Elementary and ESL (pre-k-12). After 8 years in Elementary, I will be switching to ESL in September. I'm a little nervous because this means a new school and a new tenure track but I'm also excited!

My first certification was early childhood and elementary. (N-6). My Masters was in special education. I think I am done now ;) but I think if I were to get another one, it would be in speech-language pathology.

I am certified for HS English, but would like to either get dual certification for Spanish or for Elementary school one day. I wouldn't want to lose my tenure though, so not sure if I ever will.
