Another Christmas card question
When you are filling out the inside of a card to a family that has a lot of kids (like 4) do you write out all the names or just write the parents names and family. TIA!

I write out all the names; it makes it more personal.

Re: Another Christmas card question
I usually just write "Merry Christmas, everyone!" and sign our names at the bottom.

Re: Another Christmas card question
Well, I have one cousin that has eight kids . They are all Gaelic names and the strangest spellings, for example Owen is spelled Eoin or something like that. No holiday card is big enough and I don't think I can remember them all.
Most people I know have two or three and in that case I write out the names.

Yes, I am a little nervous that I am not spelling some of the names correctly! Oh boy.

Re: Another Christmas card question
I write out all of the names because I once got a comment from a cousin how much she appreciated that I did it. At the time I didn't realize it would mean anything so I was happy that I did. Now I do it all the time for everyone.

Re: Another Christmas card question
I just got a card from one of my old neighbors. And I was thinking I wonder how she would write it out. Sure enough Tracy, John & family. I apparently got a big family now!! LOL!

My daughters name is Gaelic (Saoirse) & most people have never heard of it before so they don't know how to spell it.
My nepehew is a Eoghan (Eoin/Owen) My sister confused everyone!!

I used to know an Eoin - I thought it was such a cool name.
I would probably write out the names - except for my friend who's son's name I am not sure of - and it's just too late to ask . So I'll write Dear Kim & family. I feel bad and each year I keep hoping she'll write both kid's names out on her card, but she never does.

Re: Another Christmas card question
If I can remember their names, and the spellings, I put them in....my DH has a HUGE family with like 40 first cousins who all have children - we're obviously closer to some then others....they get the more personal cards. The ones he can't remember get the "and familly"

Re: Another Christmas card question
No, I get the picture cards that already say Love, so and so. There is no room to write anything else. On the envelopes I just write & boys, & girls, & family or just the 1 child's name.
