Another contract Re closing date for a seller
As a seller do you just choose whatever closing date you want? How far ahead can it be? And when is this discussed, before the contracts are signed? When the bid is made?
Would it be odd if I wanted to not close for a couple of mths?

Re: Another contract Re closing date for a seller
Once the contract is signed, there is usually something written in there about 30 or 60 days to close.
But that doesn't mean the bank will be ready to close by then.
When the contracts are made up, I believe you can put that in the contract, the buyers will either agree, or disagree to it.
