Re: another Driving thread/question
The only thing that you need to worry about is how big a truck it is. If you weren't used to driving a big truck, that may be an issue. The driving part, you'll get used to by the time you drive from your parents to your house.

Yes, it's kind of like riding a bike.
I got rid of my car when I moved to NYC and then had to be on a waiting list for parking at my current building for about 5 years. I refused to buy a car and deal with alternate side of the street parking every day so I did not drive regularly for those 5 years (accept a rental car once and driving my dad's car when I went home for Christmas and Thanksgiving).
You should be fine.

Re: another Driving thread/question
Its like riding a bike. I got my license when I was 18 and drove once in a while. I never had a car (didnt need one in NY) and then when we moved to FL 3 years ago (I was 24) I had no choice if I wanted to get anywhere I needed a car.
At first I was a little nervous (especially with the snow birds) but after a while it all just came back to me and my NY driving skills

Re: another Driving thread/question
It is like riding a bike. One thing I noticed is that I have to concentrate more in the beginning.
