Another Dutch Wonderland Question... Eden Hotel?
So many of you stay in and love the Eden. Is it mostly for the outdoor water play/pool area?
We'll be going in October for foliage. I do not see us swimming, even indoors. I want to soak in some Amish life.
It seems so cookie cutter big box hotel beige walls burgundy bedspread framed art to me. Which seems to contradict the Amish setting.
What's so hot about it for you?
No matter what you say, I still most likely will not stay there! I'm not feeling it. I'm just curious.

Re: Another Dutch Wonderland Question... Eden Hotel?
-It was spotless, new -comfy beds -The price was reasonable -The location was great -The water area was awesome (but you are going in the fall so I agree with you there) -The playground was great -the free ice cream was nice - I liked the room b/c we could be out watching tv, doing stuff after DS went to bed -kitchen area was just what we needed -they gave nice toiletries - everyone was extremely nice -they have a bar, should you want to get a drink (or need one ) -It was great b/c we could get food right in the hotel without having to leave, which was great after a long day at Hershey & there was no way DS was going to survive at a restaurant
-I had posted this the last time but I didn't not enjoy the breakfast bar but I'm not big on breakfast bars, everything anywhere always just seems gross and sitting out under a heated lap for to long!
If you want the amish feel, then no. . this is not your place

Exactly! I sleeve everything and this place was spotless! We aren't big pool people but once we got there with sounds of the steel drums being piped in I felt like I went away to somewhere tropical. It was GREAT!

I am literally there right now-just got here today for a first stay. I love that it is clean, modern, and has the space my family of 4 needs. I would stay here again for sure, the outdoor area was a draw b.c it's summer and mys will enjoy it. So far it has been a great stay! Pardon my typos-I, am using an iPad!
