another fruit question...
in the winter, the price of some fruit (berries) rises and i LOVE berries, especially strawberries but cant bring myself to spend $5/box.
what fruits do u ear in the winter besides apples and bananas that dont cost a ton of $ in the winter months?

Oranges. Shop Rite and Key food have had Berries on sale the past couple of weeks.

every morning i make a smoothie
1 banana
1 cup of frozen strawberries or mango
1 cup of chocolate almond milk
it is so filling and only 3 pts!
a great way to use frozen out of season fruit

Sounds delicious. What do you use to make the smoothie? A regular blender?

It doesn't taste the same to me, but I will buy frozen.
Usually...USUALLY one of the supermarkets will advertise a sale on berries.
