Another gender old-wife tale....
My friends aunt was a nurse in the maternity ward for 30 years and she says she goes by how early you feel the baby kick to tell the gender.
If you feel movement early = Girl Later on = Boy
For me she was right I felt flutters at 14 weeks and full on kicks by 17 weeks. At 21 I'm feeling rolls and larger thumps.

Re: Another gender old-wife tale....
i heard this old-wives tale from my beloved italian grandmother -
except she said :
early movements = boy late movements = girl
She had 3 boys and felt them all very early on - she said she just knew they would be boys b/c of that every time she was pregnant.
I felt DD around 17/18 weeks This pregnancy - not to much movement at 18 weeks - don't know what that means - according to my nonna it would be a girl (she was right about it the right time) - this time something tells me i am going to have a boy - ill let you know!
