Another glucose test question...DId you have to drink...

the whole bottle of the sweet stuff for the test?

I did the fasting test with DD, and the lab only made me drink 1/2 of the bottle. They messed up alot of my tests when i was pg with her, and hence my doc's office doesn't use this lab anymore.

I had a whole bottle of the orange for the 1 hour and the whole bottle of the "sprite" flavor for the 3 hour.

The whole bottle within 5 minutes exactly one hour before the test. It's much easier if you refrigerate it and take it cold but no ice added.

It depends how big the bottle is. They didn't have any small ones left so they drew a line for me and I drank up until the line.

At my test with DD, i only had to drink 1/2 the bottle, it was about the size of regular poland spring bottle, like this..



I took the fasting test too. Now i am wondering if the lab messed up yet anohter test with DD.

Does GD cause weight gain if your diet isn't controlled?
