Another GYN post

My mom has some issues. The last doc she went to didn't really explain the results.

She wants someone with GREAT bedside manner and who is a doctor (not an LNP/mid-wife/PA).

We are in Central Suffolk but she'd travel for a great doc.

I go to Oakdale OBGYN and LOVE Dr. Bakshi. He is so kind and compassionate and takes the time to explain everything.

I go to Dr Antoniadis in West Islip. It might be a drive for you.

I also saw Dr Marshak at Suffok OB GYN. I saw her at the SMithtown office but a few times I went to Patchaogue and Pt Jeff offices. I know some people said they didnt like her bedside manner but I loved her. SHe is very straigh forward. I left because it was just too far of a drive and was goign to TTC and didnt want to drive an hr to deliver at the hospitals up in the Pt Jeff area.

It's Nassau but just over the border.........I recently switched to Dr. Francine Fradella in North Massapequa on Broadway.

I was impressed with the amount of time she spent with me, and I just changed from an Ob-gyn affiliated with one of the best hospitals on Long Island.

I used Dr. Daphna Kilion before I became pregnant the first time (she only does gynecology).I find her to be very thorough and she really explains things well. My mom has had some issues and has family history of some issues as well and she spends a lot of time with her patients explaining things. Sometimes there can be a wait because it is a single doctor practice, but the wait is always because she is giving another patient the time that they need, which I think is nice because you know that she will give it to you too when you need it.

I go to Dr. Franchina in Babylon who is phenominal! It might be a bit far for her though. The office staff is very friendly, the office is small, there's never more than a 10-15 minute wait, he answers ALL of your questions. He's actually my favorite Dr. I've ever had!
