Another IUI question
Just wondering because I've been reading a few things and some of them say that IUI's are ultrasound guided but they didn't use ultrasound guidance with me yesterday. Is it typical not too? I was actually wondering this during my IUI yesterday. I was saying to myself how does she know when she's in my uterus far enough.

Re: Another IUI question
I did not have a sonogram during both my IUIs. They do use them for IVF.

Re: Another IUI question
IVF transfers are the only time they use sonogram as a guide.

Re: Another IUI question
No, no ultrasound for the IUI. When people BD there's no need for ultrasound, right? You just sort of shoot it in the general direction and the sperm know where to swim.
Mine did use a photograph of my sono from the day before, though, so she's know which side to "aim for" (in her words!).
