Another MMR post...if your DC had a reaction, what day did it happen?
How many days after the vaccine did your child have a reaction? What was it? How long did it last?
DD is now 11 days past MMR. So far so good. Knocking on wood.

Eliza developed a low fever (101) and a rash on her torso and upper thighs from day 7 to day 10 after her shot.
Madelyn had no reaction at all.

DS got a full body rash almost a month after he had the shot. We totally didnt even think at the time that it could be a reaction, even after my DH commented that it looked like the mumps (we were on vacation at the time). When we got home I realized that it was prob from that, of course when i called the office the one doctor there who is PRO vaccinations spoke to me and told me oh it mostly isnt from that, but DS never had a rash like that before and it seemed to coincidental that it happened after the MMR. and we didnt use any new shampoos, lotions, detergent, etc. nothing had changed

I agree with you. I would absolutely believe it was related. Unless something on vacation caused that reaction (did your DC go in the water, a pool etc)?

He did go in but he has been in various pools/oceans since he was a baby so I didnt think it was from that. Plus it didnt happen till a couple days into the trip. We were in the water the first day, so we believe that if it was the chlorine, he would have had a reaction to it then. Honestly who knows, it just seemed so coincidental you know?
