MMR Reaction...HELP

Googly had her MMR vaccination last Friday. Dr. said the reaction would show 7-10 days later. As of Thurs. night she's been up most of the night; cranky, diarrhea & just not herself. He said to look for a rash though.

Has anyone else had this kind of reaction?

Thx.

Re: MMR Reaction...HELP

That was the only vaccination that my son had a reaction to.. Same thing, like 8 days after starting with vomitting, diarrhea and a scorching temp. I remember just giving him Motrin , keeping him hydrated and him sleeping on me all day.. GL I hope she feels better soon.Chat Icon

Hey Cindy!

Cailen had that reaction. It was awful and to tell you the truth, it felt like he would be sick forever - it lingered for several days. He had the highest fever he ever had in his life and was miserable. I'm so sorry Gracie has it - it will get better - hang in there and make sure she drinks!!!! Chat Icon

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon DD got a fever of 104 for 2 days and then a rash on her chest and back. Otherwise she wasn't cranky or acting sick.

Re: MMR Reaction...HELP

Bella had a reaction to the MMR as well. About a week after she started running a fever and her demeanor was really off. She is usually happy go lucky, but she was super cranky, very tired and just wasn;t acting like herself. We gave her Motrin for the fever and lots of love. The good news is it goes away and they go back to normal. Hope she feels better.

DD had her MMR on Tuesday morning and has been under the weather since too. No rash though. Fever, runny nose, sneezing and whining. I hope Googly feels better soon. Chat Icon Chat Icon
