another new facebook question...
even though i have it on "most recent" it will only show me posts from hours ago. i have it set to 5000 for Maximum number of friends shown in Live Feed. but when i pick the peole i want and save it it clears.
i'm lost, can someone school me plz!

its the new FB -- its confusing and annoying for everyone
they are still ironing out the kinks. I'm annoyed that you can't set it to "status updates" only like i had before -- now its just a jumble.

The last status update I can read is from someone an hour ago. I have 420 friends...it's not possible that no one has updated their status.

I was JUST going to post about this! I logged on saw status updates from just a few mnutes ago, read a message and when I returned to the homepage the most recent post was 2 hours old
This is SO annoying! Is there a way to fix this or just wait it out?

So there is Most Recent and Top News links on the top right...
Since the last time you log in, FB keeps track of the items you didn't see. Its almost like Unread Email...
I for one like the new layout...

YUP!
Sometimes it will show me most recent sometimes it will show me from hrs ago.
I like the layout but the status updates aren't showing correctly.
I went to a friends profile page to see if she posted anything today (knowing she did because she posts a lot) and it shows 3 status updates but none are showing on my page.
It's annoying and makes me not want to waste my time going on till they get all the kinks worked out

Same issue here. Log in, see only older stuff despite the "most recent" setting. Reload, suddenly there's a bunch of new stuff. Go to someone's profile, they have status updates that didn't show up on the newsfeed either of the other times. Click back to the news feed, it's back to the original old stuff... you'd think they'd test it for glitches BEFORE rolling out the new version!

Having same issue here. Every time I refresh and go to home page, it shows same statuses. It's been over an hour and nothing has changed.

Mine has been like this all day...sometimes when I refresh a bunch of times I get it to work and them poof its gone...from what I have researched it is a glitch...hopefully the get it worked out soon...
