Another Newbie question... What should I have in the medicine cabinet?
What kinds of medicines or other paraphenalia should I have in the medicine cabinet or in the diaper bag?

The generics of infant tylenol and motrin, gripe water if you plan on using that, baby nail clippers, thermometer, aquaphor, bulb syringe, saline drops...

I also always keep liquid benedryl and ask the ped at each well visit what the current dose is.
I am not sure if you would be able to use it with a newborn, but DD had a horrible reaction to sunscreen at around 8 months and I was thankful that I happened to have it in the house - I can't imagine how much worse it would have gotten if we had to get in the car and drive to get some!
