Another not so great doctor's appointment

I had a doctor's appointment this morning to see whether I could go back to work. I've been on bedrest since Tuesday. My BP was high again although it was much better when I was lying down. I'm now on bedrest for the remainder of my pregnancy.

I had another internal and I'm dilated 2 cm and am 70% effaced. Last week, I wasn't dilated at all. My 24 hour urine test came back fine and I lost 4 lbs since last week. The bedrest really helped my swelling and I definitely lost a bunch of water weight. I'm still quite swollen though.

I'm having a sono and NST on Thursday. If anything doesn't look good, the doctor will send me over to L&D and I'll be induced. She thinks may come even earlier than Thursday. If things look ok on Thursday, I'll probably be induced next week. I'll be 37 weeks on Thursday and the doctors won't let me go much past 38 weeks b/c of my swelling, high BP, etc.

I started feeling crampy after the internal and I also felt some contractions. Hopefully the bedrest will help. We were supposed to move into our house this weekend, but it looks like everything is up in the air. The doctor told me to pack a bag and be prepared that Thursday could be the day. I'm definitely not mentally prepared for the possibility that the baby will be here this week. I'm excited, but also nervous and anxious. I guess it's time to install the car seat.

OMG!!!!!!! baby will be here soon!!! I'm hoping I make as much progress as you at my next Dr's appt, I have a sono on Friday as well to see if she's in position!!!
