Another project we finished... the kitchen bar.
A while ago I posted about what to do with the back of our raised kitchen bar (to paint it, add moulding, put subway tile, etc). We decided to paint it the same color as the LR and kitchen and add moulding and corbels. We bought the moulding and corbels at HD and painted it all white. Here are a few pics:

Oh no that's a very old picture, from before we got our new kitchen put in back in August. I would never get up on a ladder now... my balance is so off!

Jess, did you use shelf brackets? I always thought corbels were thicker more decorative like this...

Jess, did you use shelf brackets?
They were labeled as corbels and in that section at HD. We wanted them thin since we have four stools there and didn't want anything too fancy. There were some crazy ones there to choose from!
