another question about hitting: when to start timeouts?
I tried this a couple of times, bu they don't get it.

I think about a 18 months. I would just put one in her crib for a minute. And no they didn't get it. Now that they are 2 I put them in the corner. (Same thing I do to their big brother) They get that it's a time out. And they stay there.

At 18 months I started putting them on my lap facing out and would hold them there for a minute. I would explain what the issue was before and after the time. At around 2 they got it, but it took some time to get them to stay in the seat, at times it took 30 mintues for a 2 mintue time out, but now at 2.5 they get the point.

We have done the crib thing a few times but their favorite stuffed animal is in there so they like going in there - which defeats the purpose.
I guess I'll get one of those time out chairs, but probably not start using it until they are 2 or something.
