Another question about the non-stress test I am doing on Friday...
Should I have my hospital bag and stuff already in the car just in case? Having someone go get the stuff would be a MAJOR PITA...

My test and doc are at the hospital, which is in the city. We have one car-- which I will have with me and already parked in a lot. DH will be at work, and he would need to come meet me at the hospital if something happened, I guess get the car-- leave me by myself, then drive home to get my bags, then drive back to the city and re-park the car in another lot.
Best case scenario, driving time is 20 ro 25 mins each way, but if it's rush hour-- forget about it!

nah, i did mine in the AM and they sent me home and told me to arrive at the hospital for induction at 10pm.

I would. I have them every week and did with Andrew.
One day I went in for a non stress and they said go straight to the hospital. I had nothing!! While they were prepping me for my c-section, DH had to run home and get my bag and take car of soo much stuff. It was totally unexpected.

i didnt bring my bag with me....DH had it in our car and if i was sent to the hospital he would just meet me there with it
i dont think u need it

I didn't have it with me. My test was 8am and DH doesn't leave for work until 11am. They told me at 9:30 to go home and get DH and my bag and head straight to the hospital.
I would pack a small bag you plan on using while in L&D and bring it with you. Everything else someone else can bring it for you.

Judging by your situation, I would say yes. That would be a lot easier- even if you had to wait a couple of hours in the city- its WAY better than driving back and forth.
