Another RP: Breast reductions....
I'm gonna call my surgeon who did it 10 years ago? But anyone know for sure if you can breast feed with a breast reduction?
i'm going to guess not....

I think you can. It is the breast implants that you have to worry about especially if they are silicone. Try this website:

Everyone is different. Depending on the type of surgery and how much mammory glands they took out, but it's definitely possible. I was told by my surgeon that I wouldn't know if I could BF until I had a baby and tried. Well when I had Nate we had latching issues so I didn't really BF. I was able to pump and get 2-3 oz each session. I think if I was diligent enough with it, I could have gotten my supply up. I stopped pumping at 6 weeks.
I read the book "Defining Your Own Success: Breastfeeding After Breast Reduction Surgery" while I was pg and it was very encouraging on the possibilities of BF after a reduction.
