Another Stroller Question (Pliko3 and Macalren Quest)
If I'm getting the Pliko 3 which I believe is about 17lbs, is it still a good idea to get a Maclaren? I was going to get the Quest since everyone says it's such a necessity, especially when the child is a bit older.

I don't know if it's a necessity, but I ended up getting a Pliko P3 and the Maclaren Quest Sport. The Maclaren seems to be good choice when the baby gets a bit older. I think I'll probably use the stroller for different things/stages.

I registered for the Pliko 3. I was thinking of registering for a Maclaren as well, but I think I will wait and see how the Pliko3 works out. I may not need the Maclaren.

Re: Another Stroller Question (Pliko3 and Macalren Quest)
I have a Pliko P3 and had a Mac Quest and Techno. IMO its definitely not a necessity. I looooooooooove my Pliko. It's relatively lightweight, doesn't tip, is much more plush and comfy for DD and has a snack tray for her. The Maclarens are excellent for older kids and they turn on a dime but they are freakishly tippy...that is why I got rid of both of mine. IMO the weight difference in the Quest and Pliko is not that much. If you want a really lightweight Maclaren go with the Volo for when your DC is older.
