ANOTHER symptom???
As if all other symptoms weren't bad enough, now we have to endure LEG CRAMPS at night, too!???? What the hell does that have to do with pg!? 
I had my 1st cramp, in my left calf, at 8am today.

This is common, I'm sorry it's happening to you! I hear eating bananas helps, and drinking milk, as well. I can't remember if it's a potassium deficiancy or a calcium deficiancy.

I get them when i sleep sometimes and sometimes I wake up and sometimes in the morning when I notice my calfs are very tight. I asked my doctor about it and she said charlie horses are very common in pregnancy and they are due to a calcium definiceny she said to take Tums, one day because they contain 400 mg of calcuim but you need to make sure to increase your water intake also. She didnt want me to increase my dairy and I forgot to ask why.

They are like the worst Charlie Horse! I get them sometimes... I take 1000 mg of Calcium daily and drink lots of water and it hasn't really helped...

I would wake up SCREAMING because of those damn leg cramps. My whole leg would be hurting the rest of the day.

I am not pregnant but I used to get these in the middle of the night BAD all the time when I was young. My mom would come in and punch it out - it took a while and then after that it would still hurt for a bit. I was on pointe shoes (ballet) for years and this is why they happened - but I just wanted to tell you I sympathize!!!!
