another tax rebate question
sorry ladies, but I had a quick question if I file this year and I owe will I still get a rebate? I hate it that I always owe, and I won't even have it paid off before April 15th

To answer my own question
If you owe back taxes your rebate will be taken to pay your past due debts

I owe NJ State about $200 due us buying a home towards the ending of last year. I am still getting back a sizeable return. And we qualify for the rebate. I know that this is a one-time rebate thing.. but DH got a HUGE promotion & raise this year.. and if they were to do this rebate again next year we will not qualify 
but I don't see why you shouldn't qualify esp. if you meet the requirements..if any?
