another temp question
Sorry ladies for yet another question. If you are charting your temp, how many days after Day 1 of your cycle would I most likely see a dip in my temperature? I know everyone is different but about how many days does it take when you see that for those that are charting?

Re: another temp question
you should look for a RISE not a dip. Your temp will rise right after you ovulate to indicate you ovulated.

Re: another temp question
What she said :). But after you ovulate, you might see an implantation dip around 6 days post ovulation - which is always nice to see. Good luck!

Re: another temp question
But there is usually a dip right before the rise (at least there is for me).
The "dip" is usually my ovulation day.

Re: another temp question
Dips usually represent estrogen surges...so before O, there can be a dip, and it's a rule of thumb to always bd on a dip day :)
Dips during the LP usually happen mid LP because once again that's when estrogen surges....as well as progesterone ....so the dip is usually above the coverline. Implantation usually happens during the estrogen surge...so therefore sometimes , the 'dip' can be a good judge of when to poas :)
I wonder if the enzyme that the blastocyst secretes....causes a dip by interacting with estrogen ..and that's why implantation dips occur frequently....
What a rollercoaster.... emotionally and visually :)

Re: another temp question
I'm sorry - I had a brain fart - you do get a dip right before ovulation as well. Sorry!
