Celebrated our one year anniversary
Bought a home! Fixed it up a bit and furnished it.
Went to St. Maarten
Went from doctoral student to doctoral candidate.
Completed five years at my job!
It was a good yet busy year.

In looking back, we had a busy year:
Got married  and enjoyed two beautiful weeks in Hawaii 
Lost a dear friend far too early 
Worked with my entire family when my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had brain surgery within 4 days (he's fine now) 
Got a promotion in January to AVP - and was then promoted again in October to full VP
Managed some truly meaningful and successful programs at work
Bought a new house (the first one truly "with" my DH)
Saw my DH through his first full year on the job in law enforcement 
I'm hoping that 2007 will be a bit quieter - but equally successful!!!

Got married.
Spent 2 weeks in Hawaii.
Bought a Mini Cooper.
Moved into a microscopic apartment that I hate.
Gained 15 pounds!

Completed my masters (attended graduation 7m preggo  )

I learned to relax about constantly cleaning the house
I did more freelance and got some new gigs
That's it. It was a quiet, good year!

changed my spending habits
got a safer car- an SUV
got a great job and a raise
made it thru my first year of marriage
My DHs neck heeled itself after 2 years of constant pain ( the best thing ever)

Bought a house
survived the EXTREME makeover we did on it
bought a new truck
celebrated our 1 year anniversary
fell more in love w/ DH
and most importantly, gave birth to our beautiful daughter, the love of our lives
2006 was a very busy year but it was the best year of my life
