Anxiety / depression sufferers....

please FM me if you have in the past or are currently taking meds...i feel really down in the dumps today and I am wondering if I can take a half dose of one of my meds? Chat Icon

Taking any anti depressant is not going to make you feel better. They take a couple of weeks to kick in. In the meantime, get yourself some Premsyn PMS, it has mood enhances. Sorry you feel like poo. Chat Icon

True. I was on Paxil and it takes a good two weeks to regulate your system and start to make you feel better.

And when you go off it the withdrawal is hell for the first few days.

The only thing I would take for "emergency" situations is Xanax which does have an immediate effect, but is very addictive so many doctors don't like to prescribe it as much.
