Any BFing moms do weight watchers???

A friend of mine is a nutritionist and basically told me she didnt think it was a good idea to do while nursing, but Im thinking as long as you FOLLOW the plan made for nursing mothers- what harm can it do?

Also- how many "extra" points do you get because you are nursing?

i agree with your friend and dont think its a good idea to nurse on a diet..
you need a ton of extra calories when you BF, and if youre counting "points" youre limiting your baby i think..
i would tell you that when you nurse, youre definately gonna be hungry more often, but you will lose the weight faster too..
i was finally able to get into my prepregnancy clothing at about 4 months pp..but not for long since i found out we were expecting again by 5 1/2 months pp..lol

I did WW while BFing. They give you an extra 10 points to allow you more milk, fruits, and veggies. I think it's totally fine.

I am doing WW and still BF. Like Jess said, you get an extra 10 points per day. I am eating well and losing weight. It's a slow weight loss but it's there.

I tried it while nursing. Looking back on it, I dont think it was smart of me to diet and nurse. My supply ended a lot sooner than I wanted.

i just realized i misread your post and didnt know there was a nursing plan for WW..that makes me feel alittle better about it, but i still probably wouldnt do it..i was starvingggggg when i nursed..

I did- and it's actually an extra 10 points I think- but your DC must be EBF, no solids, and under 6 months old. Otherwise, yo don't get the extra points.

I had 34 points a day- believe me, I was eating all day and totally able to do it.
