ANY CURES FOR HEARTBURN?!?!?
IT IS SO BAD!!!! i really hope someone has a suggestion. I feel like i have tried everything and nothing works

Yes!! I had horrible heartburn and tums/rolaids temporarily helped but not much at all.. The godsend I found are Pepcid AC complete tabs...they are a little pricey BUT one works right away and lasts for hours...they are ok to take as well. Definitely go and buy them and tell me what you think!! They helped so much...

Ginger ale- and when you eat meals, don't have a lot of liquids. That dilutes your stomach acid and can result in heartburn.

I've had success lately with taking orange peel extract. Going by the instructions that came with it I take 1 every other day for the last 10 days or so and am noticing a difference already. Do a google search on it.

Also, my doctor said Zantac 75 is safe to use. It has been by SAVIOR!!!!

ETA: I take it back, it's Pepcid that I take.

My doc said Tums was okay though I luckily haven't had heartburn yet. It also takes care of your Calcium intake for the day

tums, and lots of them for me. those were the only things that really worked. and i drank milk also, its help to take the "fire" away.

Tums works for me, but i only get heartburn occassionaly. Also, i find that a good bowl of ice cream does it too

i had it really bad in the first trimester and expect it again soon in my last. I bought these ginger cubes from the supermarket that you can put in hot water and add some sugar for ginger tea. It was one of the few things that soothed it so I could go to sleep.
Also I got ginger snap cookies for the morning.

Ditto...tums and milk were my best friends....My dh made me tons of chocolate milk too. YUM!! But having the baby is the best cure.
