Any cute 1st day of school ideas
DD will be starting preschool on tuesday. Up until then she has been home with me. I think she will do well but just trying to think of cute ideas to help her. I am going to tape a pic of me and DH on the inside of her back pack and a friend told me a cute temporary tattoo idea. I am going to make a school themed cake for snack when she gets home. But if anyone has any cute ideas, i'd love to hear them!

Maybe you could buy a picture book about the first day of school and read it with her before she goes.

Have you ever read the book " The Kissing Hand" by Audrey Penn?
You could put lipstick on and kiss her hand...
Heres what the book is about ( a review from Amazon  )
Chester Racoon and his mother prepare for Chester's first "night" at school. He is a little apprehensive, and, of course, he wants to stay home with his mom. Mrs. Racoon shares a secret with Chester called the Kissing Hand. She kisses Chester's palm and tells him to put it to his cheek when he begins to feel lonely at school. This book makes a great gift for a child entering school or going to camp for the first time, or for any occasion where a child will be temporarily separated from home and loved ones
Just try not to over-stress the "missing" part too much and she will do fine ...My DS had a rough time for the 1st 2 weeks and the teachers kept telling me after the 2 week mark it would get better and they were 100% correct ! Now when I drop him off, I have to remind him to kiss me bye bye!!!

I was just going to suggest this book. I drew a small heart on my ds and dd hands with a red felt tip marker. It was perfect.
