Any doctors at LI IVF specialize in DOR and advanced maternal age?
Before I start my next IVF, I want to get a second opinion with another practice. I've heard that Brenner is quick to push DE. Is there a dr there who is knowledgable about AMA/DOR patients?
I already have my protocol for this coming cycle, but want to hear if someone else would do anything differently.

I would love to know the answer to this. This is my problem in getting PG too...and I am going to Dr. Keningsbergin a few weeks for a consult (on a recommendation from a friend).

I know you're looking for LI but new hope fertility in the city does. I know two women in their late forties who had successful ivfs there.

I would definitely NOT recommend Brenner for AMA/DOR.

I am definitely interested in this as well. Have to go back to IUI for a little while and I feel like there is a piece to this puzzle someone is missing. Was thinking about LIIVF. Can I ask why you would not recommend Brenner?

My experience being AMA and some that weren't AMA were told in early 30s they needed donor egg and went on elsewhere to succeed. I definitely found him to be doom and gloom and after speaking to others, were told the same.

I don't mean to hijack your thread, but I am interested in this as well.
Any other Drs on LI that specialize in AMA that are NOT quick to push donor eggs?
LI-IVFs stance on donor eggs is why I won't seek a 2nd opinion from them. I have not been able to bring myself to use donor eggs, and my current RE doesn't think I need to (my FSH and AMH are normal).

Joanne, hijack away. My current RE is not pushing DE and he's responsible for my DD. I just want to know if a different RE would have a suggestion that I can take back to my RE.
Owen Davis at Cornell is the AMA/DOR guru, but just the consult we had with him before DD was born cost us $600 out of pocket. We can't afford to consult with him again.

I was going to say this. There are some drs that specialize in AMA/DOR and Dr. Davis is one of them.
