Any estheticians/makeup artists out there?
I'm looking to make a career change and any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated I'm starting the 600 hour course in May so I can take the NY boards.

I just took the 50 hour make-up artist course at the lia schorr institute-it was SO MUCH FUN!! i loved it

My best friend is-she is a rare poster on here you can try to FM her she will get it eventually TwinMama.
She went to Christine Valmay in the city. She does very well now working for a well known plastic surgeon. She gets paid hourly plus makes commission on products and selling packages. She works with lasers as well

My sister went to MUDD in LA to be a makeup artist..she does a lot of magazine work, fashion shows..she seems to love it.

My sister went to Lia Schorr last summer and got her certificate.

I'm looking at a few schools right now, but my schedule is crazy so I'm trying to find a program that will work. I'd love to go to the new Paul Mitchell school in Garden City, but I don't think I can make it there from my office in time. I might go to NYIB in Islandia.

Yea, my sister loved it so much, she is thinking about doing other classes that they offer.
