Makeup artists at the MAC store

Does anyone know if you have to pay/tip them when they put stuff on you. At the mall yesterday while going into Macy's I saw a chick putting eyeshadow and stuff on a chick.
if so how much.

I figure it would help if I started to wear makeup (last time was my wedding day 8yrs ago)
now lipgloss or so.

I think if you are having them do your makeup at the counter, then you should purchase a few of their products.

You don't have to tip them.

I think they recommend that you buy at least 2 things or around $50 worth or products.

Feel free to tell them if you don't like what they use, or how it comes out, and they will re-do it.

I got my makeup done a long time ago at the Mac in Macy's and the girl wanted to use al greens on my eyes since they are hazel/green.. seemed like a nice idea... until she gets done and I looked like something out of the Thriller video.. It look like halloween makeup

I asked her to re-do it with browns and then purchased those..
