Worked for them about 5 years ago. Didn't have my Masters at the time.
I don't have an exact amount for you, but you'll probably take a pay cut of at LEAST $10,000. Great place to work, doesn't pay the bills so well.

I would predict less than $40K; I have a friend who works for the diocese and I believe thats what he makes with a similar education/experience level.

Re: Any idea what a school is RVC diocese would pay
I was making 32,000 with my masters & 4 years teaching experience. It would definitely be under 40,000.

I worked in a private school, know its a little difference..
Although you got more for your masters, you didn't get anything for credits above that
I was making under 35k for my ma and 2 years experience

Re: Any idea what a school is RVC diocese would pay
I work as a teacher in the RVC diocese for 11 years now. Unless you have worked as a teacher in the diocese you will be starting out on Step 1, even with a masters. Before hand you should know you wont be making nearlly as much as public school teachers., We have also been on a salary freeze for the last 3 years which really stinks. Two schools closed last year (one was mine) and another is closing after this year. Thank God for us there was a retiremengt incentive last year, so a number of jobs opened. They dont expect nearly as much this year. It has gotten to be just as tough to get into the diocese as it is public.
