We are off on a Friday coming up and was looking for some fun things in the area to do (preferably Nassau or W Suffolk)

Doesn't Forest Park have a zoo? Or somewhere. And, there is a farm somewhere on Queens, as well.

Or maybe you are thinking of Queens County Farm in I believe near bellerose, next town over I forget the name.
Or for sure, the Nautical Mile in Freeport.

No we don't have kids. The Atlas Park shops sound cool but my DH would be bored out of his mind. I'll check out about the Nautical Mile.

Flushing Meadow has a zoo.
If you want to get daring, take a trip to the vineyards on the North Fork.

also if you like gardens, the old westbury gardens are really nice, to walk through, pack a lunch.

We have been there twice in the last 2 weeks.
Just ate at E.B. Elliot's yesterday and thought the food was awesome! and they have great views of the dock, very clean too!
Also liked the food at Rachels Waterside but less choices there.

How about Northport Harbor? You could also visit huntington villiage or cold spring harbor villiage.
