Any Memorial Day Plans
I know Biden hasn’t given us the go for this holiday so wondered if anyone will just not listen and have a party.
I went to one last year and going to same people’s home. Hoping it is a nice day to sit outside :)

Traveling home to finally give my father a memorial. He passed in December but we weren't able to give him a funeral due to Covid.

If it’s nice we will be at our country club in the AM and beach in the afternoon. Kids should sleep like the dead.

Saturday going a bbq, Sunday lunch with one of my friends who I haven’t seen in about a year and Monday I don’t know.

We do it every year with Scouts. I've been doing it for the past 10 years or so. Last year we weren't able to do it.  This year it's slightly modified, with smaller groups, and people spaced-out time wise, so when my group is done, all of the flags won't be out yet, but all of the flags will be up by noon.
It's a very humbling event, seeing those fields of white markers and the flags in front of all of them.

Sad as it is outdoors and they should go back to normal but it is better than nothing at all :)
