Any moms have info on the antibiotic Septra?

Any moms have info on the antibiotic Septra?
DS has been having some issues with sleep lately, A LOT of issues actually. Turns out he has a bacterial infection in his big toe. He actually had to have it drained last night. This has NOT been fun. But now today he is not eating at all and has diarrhea. He has been on Septra since Tuesday. Could this be from the antibiotic? He does get diarrhea from Augmentin but he has never had to take Septra before so I'm just not sure. Any BTDT moms know about this antibiotic?

I'm currently on it myself started it on Tuesday for a Kidney Infection. I have no desire to eat on it. I am only eating a meal because you need to before taking it and then you have to drink 8oz after it and then the rest of my day is filled with water.
Are you feeding him before the dose and then giving him a bottle afterwards?? Sorry I didn't look at his age I'm not sure if he eats or not already.

He is 19 months old so he doesn't get a bottle anymore. But he just won't eat anything. He's had a very rough couple of days.....

 Shameless bump for you nighttime mommies... DS will NOT eat ANYTHING, not even his favorites. But I have to give him his antibiotic and Motrin for the pain.. Not been a good week........
