Any natural remedies for a head cold?
It seems my cold won't go away, and I wonder if it will stick around for my entire first trimester. I am stuffed up, sniffling, sore throat, runny nose, sneezing non-stop. Can I do anything for relief?

Re: Any natural remedies for a head cold?
I have a bad cold myself and was wondering the same thing...
I've been trying to drink a lot of fluids, some herbal teas and soup. I was so achy yesterday, I took 2 Tylenol.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Emergen-C is safe. Everytime one of us is sick we drink it and feel better immediately. My daughter call it "magic soda"

I have all those symptoms except the sore throat. I have had them since my second month! Apparently they are symptoms of pregnancy. This might also be your problem too....

Re: Any natural remedies for a head cold?
i have a really bad cold right now - i know it's not pregnancy because i definitely got it from somebody and have now transmitted it to everyone in my house
chicken soup, decaf tea, and a hot water/honey/lemon mixture have all helped clear it up a little. i've also taken a couple of tylenols when i thought i might be getting a slight fever. other than that though, i think it just has to run its course. feel better!!!
