Any nice lounge type places to go to on LI?
I want to go out to dinner for my B-day and then go somewhere after...and do something but what? I'm trying to see if there is anything to do on LI before planning for the city...

There used to be the Cat's Meow in Smithtown which I loved, but since that's over, I really can't help...anyone know of one?!

I like The Full Martini on 111 in East Islip, and the lounge at The Curry Club in Stonybrook- I forget th ename.
But on Saturday's, they get pretty crowded, and less loungy.
There is a place in Blue Point called Glass- not sure, but it calls itself a lounge. Never been in there.

I like Victory in Garden City. They recently changed their name to Novita and are now a wine bar. I haven't been since the name change.

Novita is really nice. They have good food and desserts and lots of wine. They have many beers too for the guys and really good cocktails.
What about the Polo Lounge in Manhasset? They have chocolate fondue!

It's called the velvet lounge.
I would also recommend Toast in Port Jeff. LOVE IT!!

I think Paula Jeans Supper Club is still in Setauket.
There's also The Cup in Wantagh if you don't want to drink or the Witches Brew in Hempstead.
