any nyc teachers take p credit courses?
I'm thinking of taking a few this summer. I was wondering what they were like and how are the locations (i'd probably take them in queens or manhattan)? also has anyone taken any of the online courses? if so, how do they work?

I take the KDSI courses and they are self paced and about 200 dollars.

I took 2 of the online courses. One of them was HORRIBLE!!! The class itself could have been very interesting but the instructor... well let's just say watching paint dry was more exciting than watching her!!!
Overall, the classes are good because you work when you can and you can do it from home. I finished my 30+ that way.

i took 27 credits through kdsi and one clas through another service. the last one wasnt self paced but it wasnt too hard either. teh kdsi ones are sooo easy

thanks for your replies!
you all say the kdsi classes are self paced - what does that mean? does that mean you have a certain amount of work to do and you do it on your own with a final deadline for everything? sorry if this is a dumb question - i'm just clueless. will i need to log online at certain times to watch things? i'm a little worried about the speed of my computer.
TIA - i'm trying to motivate myself to start my 30 above

with kdsi courses you listen to a lecture and have certain questions to answer after each lecture. you a lso have a mid term and final BUT you can go back and listen to the lecture to find the info or do what i did you can also see the transcript of the lecture and search for the info you need for the questions. self paced meaning the semester was i think february to june i had from february to june to complete the work. i did 9 classes in that time and had a baby at home and worked ft to give you an idea of how easy they were. HTH
