Any of you buy a crib then...
...by the other pieces of furniture somewhere else. I am trying to get a full set (crib, combo unit, 5 drawer dresser) for 1200 or less. I want to go to Behrs this weekend. I have priced some things out with them and it keeps adding up to like $1500

I second Target. We bought our crib and changing table there for $450. We had other furniture (it's not a perfect match) that we could not manage or justify spending more money on furniture we already had.

We only bought a crib. We bought it at BRU. We already had an armoire and friends of the family gave us a dresser and changing table.
Our entire nursery cost us $32 (we had a giftcard for the crib!)

all [but one piece] from the same store BUT not all the same "style."
bookshelf from Ikea [bought before i was preggo], changing table and crib are the same style from BRU and the dresser is from BRU, but a totally different style.

I bought crib (PB) off of eBay, armoire I already had (Broyhill), and a changing table and small armoire from craigslist which I plan to paint a matching off white. Everything together was less than $400 bucks.

We got the Generation Next crib at Behr's but the Chifferobe at Target for $75 and the Changing Table at Ikea

we got the crib at BRU and a bookcase and dresser (will be used for changing table) at IKEA. Bought the rocker at an antique store somewhere in NJ.
