Any other BFing moms find it's hit or miss with the bottle?

Even though DS is mainly BF, we introduced a bottle around 4 weeks to make sure he would take it. He was fine for a bit, then we tried a bottle of formula, but he refused. Went back to BF in the bottle and he was fine. Tonight I tried a bottle again and he wouldn't take it. He doens't have it often, every couple of weeks or so, but I'm visiting my parents this week and I thought it'd be nice if they could feed him.

Anyone else - any tricks?

I never found it to be hit or miss with the bottle with breast milk in it. Maybe try pumping so you don't need the formula? Or mix the formula with the breast milk?

Has your DH tried feeding him? He might not take a bottle from you since he is used to your breast and your smell.
With that said, DS2 was a complete boob boy and never really took to a bottle either! He did when I wasn't around (so MIL could feed him, etc but I would still top off with the breast so I knew he was getting enough ). If we went out, somehow he would know though and would take a bottle
