Any other bfing moms go dairy free?

My ds was so gassy and fussy. I am breastfeeding so i decided to go dairy free and see if it helps... WELL..... its been almost a week and things are soooo much better! No more screaming fits at night! Wondering if anyone else is going dairy free... its harder than I though! Seems that EVERYTHING I eat has dairy!

I did for the first 2 months, then I gradually started eating it again. Now she is fine when I eat dairy, but it made such a huge difference in the beginning.

I did it for 4 months but wish I started it sooner. It turned out that DD is alleric to milk and egg. I only needed to cut out obvious dairy. It was hard but after 2 weeks I was fine.

I did early on for about 3 weeks, then I sloooowly added it back to my diet in limited quantities. I only put yogurt on a daily basis back into my diet @ a month ago. DD will be 7 months next week.

I did it for 17 months, and it was really hard! My DD outgrew her allergy, but doesn't drink milk because she doesn't like it. It seemed like everything in the world had milk in it; it's very hard to cut out of a diet.

I did for a while, but you have to be careful that you are getting the calcium and Vit D you need. It was hard and I truly hate soymilk, but within 3 months my son was a better digester and I could eat almost normally.
