Macy's. Most of my clothes are INC brand. I also like Style&Co., Ralph Lauren and Jones of New York.

Mostly Lane Bryant, Macy's, Bloomingdale's or occasionally Nordstroms or Talbot's woman. When I am looking for something really cheap JCPenney or Kohl's is good especially when there are sales. There is also this great store near me in Plainview called Alight which has a lot of trendier clothing. And I have also gotten things from land's end. I wish Ann Taylor would come out with a plus size store - it would do so well.

You can get plus sized clothes online from Ann Taylor

Lane Bryant, Target, and QVC. Emme has a line on QVC that I love.

What do you consider plus size?

I am a 14 on the bottom and a 10-12 on top Chat Icon (used to be an 8-10 on bottom and a 8 on top, pre-baby...but that is a whole other story).

Pants are SO hard for me. The lane Bryant stuff is too big and the regular sized 14 in some stores is too small, and a 16 is too big. I have curves, and my hips and thighs are big, so pants are ALWAYS a nightmare for me. When I do find pants it is usually at Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor Loft, Macy's, Nordstroms, and NY & Co. Old Navy and Kohls pants tend to be too slim legged for me, if that makes sense? I always need a wide legged pant, skinny jeans ARE NOT even an option for me. It's all about the a-line skirt that hits at the knee, wide legged pants and the pointed toed shoe to "elongate my leg" and make them look slimmer. I have a lot of tricks up my sleeves to make me look thinner than I am. Chat Icon This is why I cannot wear very trendy things. Timeless, classic pieces that are tailored and flatter my post- baby body is key and it is SO HARD to find these pieces sometimes.
UGH. So much has shifted around since having my DD, so I have issues (in the hip/thigh area) where there was no huge issue before.Chat Icon

What I personally consider plus size is when you can't fit into a regular store Chat Icon An 18 at the Gap or Ann Taylor is different than an 18 at Lane Bryant or an 18W at Macy's.

i would not consider you plus size.

This is me to a T!! Exactly the same. I have found some great pants that it in NY&Co. and Old Navy. They must have a little stretch in them though. They are always big in the waist, so I wear a belt. Otherwise, the smaller size is too small in my hips and azz area.

BTW, I do not consider myself plus-size, altough I sometimes feel like I am when I look for my size and see tons of 4's and 6's.

If you see a ton of 4's and 6's, that means everyone else is buying the 8's and 10's and there are only 4's and 6's left over. Chat Icon
