Any recs for waterside restaurants....
Can anyone recommend a restaurant on the water (north shore, south shore, Nassau, Suffolk...doesn't matter) that can accomodate a birthday party of about 30 people? TIA!

Fisherman's Catch- Pt. Lookout- had several parties there. FOod is great.. nice summer atmosphere!!

the snapper inn, or the riverview, both in oakdale...
if you're looking for something more laid back, not as fancy....there's kingston's in west sayville...
surf's out in bay shore? lindenhurst? right accross from Chateau Le Mer....

Louie's in Port Washington
My DH threw my surprise 30th birthday party there and it was amazing. Everyone really liked the food, the atmosphere was great and the restaurant was beautiful!

Also Louie's in Port Washington is great. My MIL just went to a bridal shower there too and said it was wonderful.

I was going to suggest both these restaurants.
Mill Pond is one of my favorite restaurant. It has a tiki bar too which is fun.
