Any significant difference between Miller Place and Mt. Sinai School Districts?
I think if I plan things right, we might be able to afford a house in two years for when DS starts kindergarten. I am leaning towards these two school districts and was wondering if anyone has any input with regard to each of their SpEd programs.

I have a friend in Mt. Sinai and she isn't happy. The class her child is in has a couple of different grade levels in it. She is always complaining about various things regarding the special education program.

I haven't had any dealing with MP Spec Ed but my neighbor had and was happy with the services she received. Both are very small SD with is both a pro and a con. One thing I like about MS over MP SD is that MS is that all MS are on one campus which will make a difference if your DC plays sports. A bonus to the 1/2 kindergarten is that services can be performed at school after the kindergarten day has ended and there are enrichment programs in the area.
