any suggestions?? RE coffee smell in the house?

ok.. heres the thing. DH LOVES espresso drinks, and i can't stand the smell of espresso or coffee. he just bought an expensive espresso maker and has been making one everyday.. but now our house smells like a starbucks all the time, and i can't take it!! i've complained to him, but he just thinks i'm being "whiny'. a friend suggested having him clean out the wet grinds right after he uses it, but hes always rushing out the door, and claims it "takes too long" to do that any other ideas?!?! thanks!
