Re: Any summer moms- ideas on take home outifts

I'm due at the tail end of Aug. and I've started thinking about it. I just want to find something light and cool, but I don't want the baby to be chilly in the AC (hospital, car, house). So I'm not sure what I should put the baby in.

I've been thinking about this too. DD was born in December so she had to be warm. This DC will be the end of July and I have no clue. Are they supposed to be kept really warm too (wrapped up)?

I'm due Aug.3rd, so I'm thinking something summery, but of course a little jacket on top! They say to always dress your baby in one extra layer than yourselves, so if you are just wearing a tee-shirt, then the baby obviously needs a little jacket. Always, always, hats!!!

I want to do something cotton prob like these from the gap. Do you think short sleeves are ok? I am due June 13th. I don't want to put her in long sleeves and overheat her.

DD was born in July, and now this baby is due in April... I have NO idea what to get for this baby!

For DD we actually put her in a little dress... the same one that my mom took me home in from the hospital. She wasnt in it for very long though!

They have cute rompers like that at Centry21 and Marshalls. I got one for my DS and a matching dress for DD at C21.

Re: Any summer moms- ideas on take home outifts

I was under the impression that we need to still dress them a tad warm in the early summer months?

I'm due the end of june, so I got one long sleeve sleeper type thing, and in case its very hot out I got a onsie and little shorts with a hat.
