Any tips on introducing our new puppy to our dog?
We currently have a 2 year old (very socialized) dog. In a few weeks we will be getting a puppy. Can anyone share some tips on introducing the two? The 2 year old dog LOVES other dogs.

It doesn't sound like you are going to have a problem but I would introduce them on neutral ground the first time. Then I would bring them home together and walk them in the house at the same time. JMO

ITA! Introducing them on Neutral grounds is the best thing to do.

Maybe getting something the new puppy chewed on or laid on (something that has his scent on it) to give to your dog and vice versa might make the intro easier.

I would bring them to neutral territory, like a park.. see how your 2 year old dog reacts.. from what it sounds like, you shouldn't have a problem.. Good Luck!!!
